The Maloney girls volleyball team is now 9-and-1 on the season after a strong 3-1 victory over 5-and-2 Glastonbury.
The Spartans opened the match with a dominant 25-13 win, but Glastonbury answered in the second set, taking it 25-10.
Maloney responded by taking control of the third set, winning 25-22, before closing out the match with a convincing 25-11 victory in the fourth.
Jenna Feitel led the Spartans with 13 kills and 2 aces, while Greta Koscuk added 10 kills.
Maryam Machmech contributed 7 kills, 3 blocks, and 2 aces, and Anabella Crespo added 4 kills and 4 blocks.
Running the offense was Tessa Holmes, who finished with 26 assists.
With the win, Maloney improves to 9-and-1 and will look to continue its strong season on Friday night at home against Bristol Eastern.
First serve is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
