The undefeated Spartan football team is now 2 and owe as they shut out Newington last night 37 to 0. Junior quarterback Ethan Nadinsky threw for 174 yards and three touchdowns with the bulk of the air attack spread between Jesus Martell and Donte Kelly. On defense, senior Brendon Borak helped limit Newington to just 3 first downs. Their next game will be a big one as they take on the #1 team in the state, Greenwich on Friday night at Falcon field.
