I am really very proud to tell you that two Maloney students are the recipients of the Questbridge College Match National Award. They will receive a full ride to Ivy League schools.
This is an incredible undertaking and not the first time we have been successful with the college match by Questbridge. Maloney has a record of measurable success with the National College Match over the years. It is a testimony to the dedication and hard work of the school counselors, as the process is labor and time intensive, but so well worth it, especially for hardworking and dedicated scholars such as this years' recipients: Sarah Kim and Amy tocto. Sarah Kim was matched with Princeton and Amy Tocto was matched with Stanford. Congratulations to these exceptional young women. I would be remiss if I didn't offer congratulations to their respective counselors: Deanna Gorss for Sarah Kim and Rachel Wilson for Amy Tocto. There are only 2,627 students in the US who have been accepted for Questbridge and two of them are from Maloney High School this year.
This is a VERY BIG DEAL and says a lot about our school community and the amazing heights at which our students compete and achieve. It also speaks to the heart and dedication of our school counselors who truly go above and beyond each and everyday making sure doors of opportunity fly open for our students.
