Record-breakers! Kevin Kirlew and Max Castillo just took down two indoor track and field records that stood for 20 years. An incredible performance by two elite athletes.

Congratulations to Kevin Kirlew and Max Castillo who both have broken 20 year old indoor track and field records. Kevin is the new record holder in the long jump with a leap of 20 ft 4.25 inches beating the old record by more than 1 1/2 ft. Max bested the old school record in the 55 meters with a time of 6.64 seconds which is currently the 19th fastest time in the state. A special shout out to Camille Cousins who had  the second best shot put throw in school history with a toss of 37 ft 2 inches setting a Wintergreen invitational meet record and currently the 5th best throw in the state.
