      1. The Senior Prom Tickets are on sale.  To purchase tickets, please see Mrs. Wojas in Room 174F or Mr. Gordon in Room 163 before or after school.  Tickets are $70 per person and you must pay all dues and have community service completed in order to purchase tickets.  Thanks!!

      1. Are you looking for a perfect gift Mother’s Day? The class of 2019 is holding a ring fundraiser. These engraved rings cost $20 and will be customized to your liking. They will be sold starting Monday, April 24th during lunch.

      1. Any students interested in performing in this year’s talent show must sign up in Mr. Sorensen's room 152 by Tuesday, April 25th.  The Talent show will be held on Thursday, May 4th at 6 pm

      1. Attention Juniors, Prom tickets are on sale and will be sold until Wednesday, May 3rd. You can purchase them in room 64c before and after school.

      1. Time is running out to purchase your 2017 Maloney Yearbook. Or yours online now for $70.00 or in the media center for $75.00. Supplies are limited.

      1. Students interested in computer science….see your counselor to get into the course Computer science principles for next year.  You will build apps for your mobile device and use computing and technology skills to be creative".  Sign up for this awesome course with your counselor or tell your math teacher you are interested and want more information!

      1. Any students interested in earning some community service hours or volunteering should see Mrs. Schmidt in Room 119 in the College and Career Center.  A couple of events are coming up soon in Meriden where volunteers will be needed.

      1. Interested in A Summer job?  Applications will be available starting Thursday, May 11th for the Summer Youth Employment Program at the Meriden Youth Services office located at 165 Miller Street in Meriden, CT.  Please see Mrs. Schmidt in Room 119 for additional information.

      1. Construction Workforce Initiative 2 will have a table set up in the cafeteria today during the lunch waves.  This is a great resource for high school students that are nearing graduation, but may not be planning to attend college.  The program will prepare you for a union trade apprenticeship.  Stop by their table and see what they have to offer.

      1. Any student interested in joining the cheerleading squad for next school year should attend a meeting on May 3rd after school in room 178. The meeting will be from 2:00-2:30. Please see Miss Roncaioli if you cannot attend.

      1. Students who registered to attend the presentation on Cosmetology, Barbering, and Esthetics by Academy DiCapelli on Friday, April 28th will be receiving a pass to come down to Room 119.  The program will run from 12:30-1:30pm in the College and Career Center.  Please see Mrs. Schmidt if you have any questions.

      1. Congratulations to the Boys Volleyball team on their thrilling 3-2 victory last night over South Windsor.  Melvin Polanco lead the way with 12 kills, 19 assists, and 5 Aces.  Michael Lorenzo chipped in 8 Kills, Te'Rell Knox had 7 Kills, and Ethan Chuong had 6.  The boys travel to Wethersfield on Friday to take on the Eagles at 5:00.

      1. Students….this is a reminder that you must adhere to the Meriden Public Schools’ Dress Code.  No hoods & hats, no ripped jeans, no bare midriffs, and all of the other dress code rules must be followed.  Teachers will be addressing you for dress code violations.

      1. Also, students this is a reminder that outside food and beverage are not permitted in school.  Leave your Dunkin Donuts at the door.

The Maloney Softball Team won its second game in a row yesterday by a score of 19 to 9. Asia Ortiz went 4 for 4 with 3 doubles and Anna Hendrickson went 3 for 4 with 4 RBI's to lead the offense.
